Lutheran Community at Telford: Farmhouse History Program
Join us to hear stories about a historic property in Telford, PA, shared by a local public figure who once called it home!
Featuring… guest speakers Lois Johnston & Kathy Jenks
Members of the greater community are welcome to join us for this rare and fascinating educational opportunity. This historic farmhouse set on the outskirts of Lutheran Community at Telford’s campus represents 200 years of Telford history and is currently targeted for restoration as part of the recently launched Grace Inspired Living Capital Campaign: A Gift of Grace ~ Inspiring Our Future.
Our guest speakers and former inhabitants of the Farmhouse itself will share anecdotes about the property and help attendees learn about its origins. The Farmhouse is located at 345 State Road (or 345 E Church Rd); however, this event will be held on the main part of campus in the Center for Community Life Auditorium. Visitors should use the address included in the event details: 12 Lutheran Home Dr, Telford, PA 18969.
Directions (Click here) | Parking: From the entrance on State Road, look for the Healthcare Pavilion. Parking is available in unmarked or “Visitor” spots in front of the building. | Campus Map |
Instructions: Once you go through the automatic sliding doors of the Healthcare Pavilion entrance, sign in/register on one of the kiosks as a Visitor—a temporary badge will print. The Receptionist at the front desk can help direct you to the nearby elevator, which you will take to the 1st Floor. Turn right after exiting the elevator to find a set of double doors to the Auditorium straight ahead.
