It’s time for ‘Fall Cleaning!’ Why not cleanout using the ‘Three Rs’ of environmental sustainability: Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!
To aide in your downsizing and decluttering, The Community at Rockhill, a Grace Inspired Living community, is partnering with the Mennonite Central Committee’s Material Resource Center (MRC) to benefit the Harleysville, PA region.
The Harleysville MRC works alongside Mennonite Central Committee to share God’s love to those suffering from poverty, oppression, natural disasters and war by meeting basic needs. This collection is open to residents, staff, family members and members of the general public.
Accepted Items:
- Clothing
- Purses
- Belts
- Shoes
- Kitchenware (plates, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, etc.)
- Linens (blankets, sheets, tablecloths, towels, etc.)
- Curtains
Not Accepted:
- Heavy Comforters
- Pillows
- Electronics
- Lamps
- Furniture
- Vinyl Records
- CDs or DVDs
- Pictures or Frames
Directions | Parking: Attendees should enter via State Road and park outside our Main Entrance (campus map). There may be event signs along the perimeter driveway directing you to on-site parking in front of the building, which is permitted only in unmarked or Visitor spots. Please refrain from parking in any numbered spots nearby that belong to our residents.
Instructions: This event will be held in our multi-purpose room (MPR) just inside the Main Entrance. Once you go through the automatic glass sliding doors of the Main Entrance, the double doors to the MPR will be straight ahead.
