The Community at Rockhill: Bucks County Senior Safety & Scam Prevention

According to recent reports, over 3,000 seniors in Pennsylvania reported being a victim of elder fraud in 2023, an increase of 14% from the previous year(s), with losses totaling more than $117 million.*

Please join us for this invaluable presentation & interactive discussion led by Michael Bannon, the Director of Bucks County’s Office of Consumer Protection/Weights & Measures. Attendees will learn about various scams impacting senior citizens from industry leaders who specialize in protecting older adults throughout Bucks County, PA. Bucks County Government, area non-profits and local lawmakers partner to enact legislation that promotes the protection of residents across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, especially seniors. Our guest speaker will also facilitate a Q&A session following the presentation.

Directions | Parking: Attendees should enter via State Road and park outside our Main Entrance (Campus Map). You may park on-site in front of the main entrance or around the perimeter of campus, only in unmarked or Visitor spots.

Instructions: This informational session will be held in our multi-purpose room (MPR) just inside the Main Entrance. Once you go through the automatic glass sliding doors of the Main Entrance, the double doors to the MPR will be straight ahead of you. First, sign in/register as a Visitor on one of the kiosks just inside the vestibule—a temporary badge will print. Then, you may head into the MPR.
