In Pennsylvania, temperatures begin to drop in November for the winter season, and popular activities like pickleball may be less accessible than they are in the summer months. The AARP recommends 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week to maintain and improve one’s health, so identifying and engaging in winter-friendly activities is essential. Staying active during colder months also helps prevent springtime injuries and keep you well-practiced and on top of your game.
At Grace Inspired Living, we have top notch indoor facilities to keep you moving and grooving through the colder months.
Gym Facilities
Residents can participate in personalized fitness programs, use HUR cardiovascular & strength training equipment, attend daily group exercise classes for all levels of physical ability, and work with a personal fitness trainer at both the Lutheran Community at Telford and The Community at Rockhill.
Some of our non-traditional fitness offerings include Stretch & Strengthen, Wii Bowling, Chair Volleyball, Chair Yoga and a multi-faceted Adventure Club.
Indoor Aquatic Centers
The Community at Rockhill, with its newly renovated Wellness center, is home to a heated indoor pool and whirlpool spa available to all residents open year-round. The expansive windows allow you to view the changing seasons from the comfort of a heated pool. Join the LiveWell team for aquatic exercise programs.
Over at Lutheran Community at Telford, residents can enjoy the heated pool year-round as well. Whether you’re engaging in one of our many water fitness classes, or laps in the pool, the Aquatic Center is open to all residents’ year round. One highlight amongst Lutheran Community at Telford residents is the Hydro-Fit & Stretch program.
