Each will retain its individual identity, while the parent company, Grace Inspired Ministries, will strengthen and support the mission of both communities.
January 3, 2017 — The Community at Rockhill and the Lutheran Community at Telford are pleased to announce “Grace Inspired Ministries” as the parent company name for their newly affiliated organizations. The affiliation became effective on January 1, 2017.
Together, they serve close to 800 residents, and employ over 600 team members on campuses in Sellersville and Telford, PA. Both communities have similar missions: to provide purpose, dignity, and compassion for both residents and individuals served.
“The discussion among our board members began with the desire to serve more people in our local community,” said President and CEO Dan McKee. “We wanted a name that would account for, and honor, the faith identities of both communities. ‘Grace’ seemed appropriate in describing the inspiration of this partnership. As referenced in chapter 4, verse 10, of Peter’s first letter, we are called to use the gifts we have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”
Rockhill Executive Director Carol DeLancey added that the thought behind arriving at the new name was a community effort. “We looked for feedback from many team members and residents from each community. ‘Grace Inspired Ministries’ received very positive feedback, and was accepted unanimously by our boards.”
“This exciting announcement is occurring as we begin 2017,” said Telford Executive Director Ellen Shrager. “It’s a new year, we have a new name, and the pieces are in place for this new affiliation to make an immediate impact on those we serve now, and those we will serve in the future.”
McKee agreed, and added, “By working together through this affiliation, our opportunity to provide inspired living environments that nurture intellectual and spiritual growth, physical wellness, and emotional well-being has increased significantly. 2017 is going to be a great year for Grace Inspired Ministries.”
