DESCRIPTION:According to recent reports\, over 3\,000 seniors in Pennsylvania reported being a victim of elder fraud in 2023\, an increase of 14% from the previous year(s)\, with losses totaling more than $117 million.* \nPlease join us for this invaluable presentation & interactive discussion led by Michael Bannon\, the Director of Bucks County’s Office of Consumer Protection/Weights & Measures. Attendees will learn about various scams impacting senior citizens from industry leaders who specialize in protecting older adults throughout Bucks County\, PA. Bucks County Government\, area non-profits and local lawmakers partner to enact legislation that promotes the protection of residents across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania\, especially seniors.
