It is with great pleasure that Grace Inspired Living announces the awarding of U.S. News and World Report‘s “Best Nursing Homes” for 2025 to both continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), The Community at Rockhill and Lutheran Community at Telford! We are so very proud of our Healthcare teams at both campuses. The global news source released their official rankings as of November 12, 2024.
The digital media company’s annual evaluation features ratings of nearly 15,000 Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) nationwide. The Community at Rockhill has earned the designations of both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Rehab, and Lutheran Community at Telford achieved their designation for Long-Term Care. The latest edition recognizes fewer than 20% of those evaluated as ranking highly in either or both categories—this amounts to only about 3,000 facilities, or every 1 in 5. In Pennsylvania, specifically, Rockhill is within the 13th percentile of rankings, according to the report.
Their proprietary ratings methodology factors in resident care, safety, infection control, health inspection results, patient outcomes, nurse staffing and other aspects of quality, using a variety of other measures put forth by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), such as consistency and retention, the use of antipsychotic drugs, and successes in preventing E.R. visits. Each facility receives an Overall Rating based on a combined ranking for Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care; both CCRCs have achieved “High Performing” in the latter.
